For members of the Texas Children's Hospital medical staff

'Experience the Journey: Co-pilots Chart the Passage'

Continue the journey of caring for sick children together by attending the three-day symposium Co-pilots Chart the Passage on Nov. 9-11. Join other physicians as well as chaplains, parents, nurses, clergy, health care professionals and pastoral care providers to deepen and strengthen your ability to provide spiritual support to sick children and their families who are facing health crises or trauma.

The Auxiliary to Texas Children’s Hospital has designed an interfaith, interactive educational experience that will enhance the ability of pastoral care providers, chaplains and community faith groups to partner and minister to the unique spiritual needs of hospitalized children, teens and their families.

Small-group workshops and opportunities to share ideas with peers complement the first-rate faculty, drawn from academic, religious and health care organizations across the nation.

For more information and to register,  visit the symposium Web site or call Jackie Crowley, symposium chair, at 713-789-7129.
