Texas Children's stands strong
and mighty after 50 years of growth.
More than a half century
ago, a brave group of visionaries planted a seed of a dream
- a hospital for all children. They nurtured the little
sapling of a concept, and it drew strength from its roots in
the generous city and medical community. As scores of caring
and talented people provided it sustenance, the hospital
developed sturdy branches and spread throughout the
community.
Today, like a majestic oak,
Texas Children's Hospital stands strong and straight in the
sunlight of worldwide acclaim, its sheltering branches
offering care to all children who seek it.
