    From Dr. Wilfong

    Dr. Wilfong is conducting several clinical research studies that focus upon developing improved therapies for patients with epilepsy and infantile spasms. Recent investigations include a pilot study evaluating the efficacy and safety of rituximab treatment in children diagnosed with Rasmussen’s syndrome, using Everolimus (Affinitor®) in the first controlled trial for epilepsy using a second generation mTOR pathway modulator in children with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, and has pioneered the use of MRI-guided stereotactic laser therapy for epilepsy.
