From Dr. Middleman
Dr. Middleman is involved in several funded research projects looking at factors associated with improved utilization of school-0located immunization programs among adolescents and improved delivery of immunization to youth in general. In addition, Dr. Middleman is collaborating with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to study the duration of protection of the hepatitis B vaccine among U.S.-born adolescents immunized as neonates. Research associated with her role as pediatric core clerkship director includes evaluating the effectiveness of a faculty tool for assessing students’ written history and physicals she has developed. Dr. Middleman continues to mentor trainees and students with various research projects.
