From Dr. Kim
Dr. Kim’s basic research focuses on the role of growth factors in angiogenesis relating to neuroblastoma. He uses an experimental model to study the effect of MDM2 antagonism on tumor angiogenesis in neuroblastoma. Dr. Kim’s research interests are complemented by a clinical focus on surgical oncology. In addition to a general surgery practice, Dr. Kim has specialized expertise in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and the surgical treatment of chest wall deformations.
Dr. Kim is certified by the American Board of Surgery in Surgery and Pediatric Surgery.
