Parking lots and garages near Texas Children's Hospital are operated by the Texas Medical Center Parking Services. Parking is available at the following Texas Medical Center facilities:

Garage 1
On Fannin between Texas Children’s Hospital and Methodist Hospital. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Garage 2
On the corner of Holcombe and Richard J.V. Johnson Ave. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Garage 12
Under the West Tower at 6621 Fannin Street, entrance via Fannin Street. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Garage 16
Under the Clinical Care Center at 6701 Fannin Street, entrance via Fannin Street to Bates. Open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Cost for garage parking
Garages 1, 2, 12 and 16 charge $2 for the first 20 minutes with gradual increases up to $12 per 24-hour period. Weekly and monthly discount passes with in-and-out privileges are available for Garages 12 and 16 at the West Tower Toy and Gift Shop; discount passes for Garages 1 and 2 are available at the St. Luke’s Cashier Office.

The fees are $52 for a five-day pass, $77 for a seven-day pass, and $198 for a 30-day pass. For questions about parking or to obtain a discount pass, call the Texas Medical Center at 713-791-6161.

Additional Parking via Shuttle Services - South Extension Lot (Brown Lot)
This parking area is located at 1522 S. Braeswood and William C. Harvin Blvd. The maximum fee is $6 a day. To get to Texas Children's, ride the white Metro shuttle free of charge.

Valet Parking
Valet parking is available for Texas Children’s Hospital at the West Tower entrance 24 hours a day, seven days a week and at the Clinical Care Center from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is an $13 charge for each 24-hour period. Once your vehicle is parked, there is no in-and-out access to the garage.

When you are ready to leave, call Ext. 4-5196 if you are in West Tower or Ext. 2-0156 if you are in the Clinical Care Center to let the valet know you'll be picking up your vehicle.

Patient and visitor parking and patient drop-off
Self-parking and Valet parking in the West Tower and Clinical Care Center is reserved exclusively for patients, parents and visitors.

Please contact the Texas Medical Center Help Line at 713-791-6161 with questions concerning parking. The Help Line is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends. Staff in Guest Services at Texas Children's is available to answer questions 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be reached at 832-824-7827.
