    US News Honor Roll Badge 2012-13The 2012 edition of Best Children's Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report once again placed Texas Children's Hospital on the Honor Roll of best pediatric institutions. Texas Children’s Hospital ranks as the #4 best children’s hospital in the nation! And just like last year, we’re #1 in Houston, we’re #1 in Texas, and we’re #1 in the central and southwest US.

    Where we ranked

    U.S. News based its rankings on requested data from 177 pediatric centers as well as survey results from thousands of physicians in 10 pediatric specialties. A hospital's inclusion depends primarily on how well it scores in medical outcomes and in care-related indicators of quality, including patient safety and staffing.
